This is the inaugural season for the Diamond Dolls. 2010 will see the organization field a 10u, 12u and hopefully a 16u team. The goal is outlined below. A primary focus for the organization is to raise 15k to 20k to get these fabulous young ladies to Disney's Fastpitch Classic in June 2010.DIAMOND DOLLSMission StatementThe primary goal of this organization is to have fun, while developing the softball skills of young ladies. The Diamond Dolls coaching staff will focus on teaching the girls every aspect of FASTPITCH Softball. The organization will be dedicated to prepare each Doll for all game situations. This will be achieved through indoor/outdoor practices, clinics, games & tournaments.Being a Diamond Doll, the athlete will be provided with knowledgeable instruction. Dolls will build self-esteem, discipline, team building skills and learn that sportsmanship is vital. To be a Diamond Doll, girls will have to understand the importance of being a good sport and team mate.Based in the Bronx, New York, we will not limit ourselves from finding the most talented girls that posses the talent to be a Diamond Doll. The Dolls will compete in affiliations such as; ASA, PONY, NSA, USSSA Tournaments, as well as local Fastpitch leagues. Older DD teams will also participate in College showcases.I understand the following, and commit to what it means to be a member of the ________ Diamond Doll Team.•	To always be on time to a practice, game or function.
•	Be prepared for ALL practices and games. Dressed properly and have all equipment.
•	Work hard and take practice seriously.
•	ALWAYS hustle on and off the field.
•	Cheer while my team is batting.
•	Talk and chatter while playing defense.
•	Listen to my coaching staff.
•	Respect my coaches, teammates, opponents and parents.
•	Never argue with an umpire, coach or parent.
•	Never put my hands on another player.
•	Eating is NOT permitted in the DUGOUT. Unless there is a health concern.
•	Never put myself before the team.
•	Never cheer negatively towards an opponent.
•	Always leave the dugout / bench clean at the end of each game.I _______________ have read and understand my role as a DIAMOND DOLL player. Go Dolls!!!Parent _____________________Date __________2010 SEASON•	2010 will begin with a Winter Workout Program. This program will consist of a minimum of 20 indoor workouts at Omni Fitness in Pelham, Home of the DIAMOND BUDDIES
•	We will play in 3 leagues.
Spring WBA (12 to 14 game Schedule + Playoffs)
Summer WBA (12 to 14 game Schedule + Playoffs)
Fall WBA (12 to 14 game Scedhule + Playoffs)
* We may possibly play in the WBPA instead of WBA•	TOURNAMENT Play ( 8 to 10 Tournaments)
-	Sparta
-	Disney Wide World of Sports June 17 to 20 ???
-	Jennie Finch / Diamond Nation (at least 2x)
-	ASA Sanctioned TournamentsSchedules for 2010 tournaments will be released in the next few weeks. I want to be ahead of the curve and get our girls registered.•	During the 2010 season, the Diamond Dolls should play 70 to 85 games depending on how far we advance in league play and tournaments.
•	With practices and games, each Doll will be exposed to over 120 days of softball activity.WHY is this ALL important?
•	It will prepare each girl for the next level.
•	Repetition breeds success and consistency.
•	Commitment to their future.About my commitmentWhen my daughter started playing softball 4 years ago I immediately became hooked. My instant addiction got me thinking and dreaming. My dreams are becoming reality. College softball is more enjoyable to watch then the Yankees. I am willing to help Women’s softball get back into the Olympics in whatever way I can.
The vision I have is to create a club, organization and atmosphere of Championship teams. But it goes beyond that. I want to give each girl, (Doll that is), the feeling of being part of something special as well as the opportunity to create life-long friendships. That something special will be looking and feeling good because they were properly prepared by the coaching staff for all game situations and competing at a high level. I want the girls and friends around them to comment “wow you play for the dolls?”
This will be the travel team to play for in the Bronx. This will be a tough organization to play against.
The Diamond Dolls will be a team where parents will
want their daughters to play.I have had many achievements and played in various places during my professional baseball career. British Columbia Canada, Florida, Virginia, Minnesota, the Carolina’s, and many other great cities. I met many great and talented people that have touched my life. I still stay in close contact with many of the guys from pro baseball. “Life Long Friendships!”These achievements were with hard work and guidance from my Dad and my coaches. It is now my turn to guide and make the girls better, bringing the girls to different places and experiencing great things. I am focused on getting these girls to the next level and love doing it!Most of all, I want the girls to have FUN!Anthony J. Falciglia
